just an FYI though - I like my intake in the above picture, but my mileage definitely drops when I have it on. Yours will be even worse since it's directly above the exhaust manifold. I need to fab up a shield for it to work better - I advise you to do the same, and to put a longer pipe on it. I have some dimensions from another guy, but haven't tried them out yet.

I have the Rustys Airtube with a 9" K&N conical in place of the factory airbox.
There was a noticeable difference in mpg and hp. But this is coming from someone that has one installed.

Took off the old wheels and put on some canyons. Flipped to black wall. Shiny new lugs an took off the mud flaps.

thanks for proving my point, you upgraded the tube and not just the cone filter.

My thing is, if your going to mod the intake or anything for that matter why not make it work better? with a few bucks worth of tubing from HD you can have a smooth intake tube with a cone filter which is much better then ribbed anything. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, I see so much stuff done on this forum that is shotty and with 10 min worth of thought would look and perform much better.

Have a set of BFG A/T 31x10.5 if anyone is interested. Only 10kmiles on them. All four for $400. The wheels will be included too if my buddy doesn't take them.
