Indeed, Jeeps were AMC back in the day. The original Cherokee design was AMC, back when it used the Chevy V6, and the Comanche design remained AMC through its life since it didn't last long enough for the '97 revision.

yep. kind of shame how crappy cars are now a days. most people I know with a new car have been in the shop at least twice in the first year for something kind major. i really wish I had been born sooner and had lived through the better era of cars.....idc if todays cars technically perform better.
