Frosty, If I get the jeep tomorrow or tuesday, I can probably bring the doors down with me on saturday. I'm probably going to end up with a whole bunch of parts in the back of mine that day.....

also, anyone willing to come up saturday around 11ish for awhile to help take apart a jeep for a little bit? would appreciate someone with a hi-lift jack and some tools.

Well, in following the spirit of the thread... I actually live in New Jersey, but will be moving to Maryland within the next few months. Currently, I already spend practically every weekend down there, in the tiny town of Saint Michaels, on the Eastern Shore.

Anyway... here's the Meredith...

So this may have been addressed earlier in this thread, but to be honest I kind of don't have the patience to go back through eighteen hundred pages. Is there anywhere in that particular area MD to wheel about? I'm not talking about anything hardcore, just some basic, easy, beginner-level trails through the woods or something. I've been finding a ton of 'em all over the place in Jersey's pine barrens, but a Google Maps search of MD doesn't show me anything that looks promising.

Welcome AJ, there are a few small spots that some of the MD guys go to in MD but there aren't many. George Washington National Forest is about 1.5 - 2 hours away with some decent easy fire roads and its $5 a day for a pass. I have been there and the other place I personally go to is Treverton, PA. Its free and its a good mix of everything some mud, rocks and some easy going stuff and the trails are laid out so you can bypass stuff if you don't want to attempt it. There is also unimproved camping there so you can make it a weekend trip since its 2.5-3 hours form me in Carroll County *add an hour for you on the Shore.

WELCOME

theres places... but you gotta know people lol. most of the trails we go on arent so beginner level, but they teach you real fast... and first things first, get recovery points. that way you can push your rig, get stuck, and get out within 15 minutes. not get stuck for half a day.

Welcome, AJ!

Is NACFEST in June? I can't get on FB to look at the invite. Are there any trips planned in July? Wanting to go some place this summer, but not sure if June is the best month.

is an adjustable track bar necessary for a 4.5" lift if you already have a 3" lift with a redrilled track bar? Been reading both sides/opinions.
