question... if i take a normal head unit that is four channel (left front, right front, left rear, right rear) and instead of wiring it to 4 speakers, just wire it to left and right, what will happen? im curious.

nothing will change other then only two will be playing. You can fry them quick if you double them up *two positives and two grounds per driver* just be sure to terminate them so the extras dont ground out and you will be fine.

You'll probably ruin the speakers. Could blow fuses in the head deck too.
