wait, which one is gonna be your dd? might as well keep the suspension stock and put your money (and skids, and tow hooks... not that gnarly d35 crap though) into your trail rig.

not sure about speakers, but I put in an Infinity Basslink powered sub and love it. I have pics in my album. I mounted mine in it's side, but it has mounting hardware to mount it upright. Got it from Crutchfield, came with a free install kit. Great setup for $200.

i do like it, but it is too big. i want to move my speakers out of my doors and put just two in a soundbar, cause you know... i throw muddy crap in my truck all the time, one less thing i have to worry about going doorless, etc.

I'd think that if you're runnin through mud without doors, your headliner and sound bar are gonna get muddy too. I'd think that as long as your head unit had decent output, most anything would sound okay. I like my Infinity speakers though.

holy crap... im past 2000 posts... im a little older than steve... what the hell...
Edit: also if you tell me a price it's easier to pick stuff. I spent $200-$300 just on cabling. The stuff I mentioned is not cheap but I used to compete so I could not go back to crappy stuff.

My Kicker CVT 10" sounded great, especially with the bench up. Turn it up too loud, though, and you lose SQ fast .
