Then whats the point of a dd and a trail rig? I would figure with a dd you want the best mpg you can get, which is negated by lifting. Makes like no sense to me.
just to replace the springs. how much are factory height leaf packs? that aren't sagging. as for shocks I don't know if I'll replace them. maybe just a BB to give it that higher look.

I know what your talking about. after fort hoyle road? PTmike would know, he works right there basically. speaking of him, anyone talked to him recently? I need to get in contact with him. (non-jeep related)

I don't see how it would be too too hard. I've dropped and replaced a trans on a 87 camaro, but idk how much different it would be as far as the crossmember, TC and all.

if it's an auto, heard they are a Biotch to rebuild.. and can be a headache .

Evening Yawl, What a fun filled day today, had all the gear and stuff ready to tear apart the Spousal units 2000 to rewire the front speakers from the factory amp to the front doors. got the passenger door panel off to find out the plug wasn't all the way connected. good thing I was replacing the speakers, so cut out the plug, soldered in the new speakers. And wa la sound was awesome. Then done some Jeep-scaping and put the front tow hooks on it.. All in all a good day. :-)

Think I might take a crack at changing my front brake lines this weekend. I'd like to be able to offroad again.
Gonna run around today and get the parts to build a pressure brake bleeder.
