I am about finished with my rear bumper/tire swing build except for one detail.... I have yet to find a latch I trust/like. I want to steer away from the huge latch with a bail every one uses, it looks hokey to me. I think I am going to use a T-handle with course thread so it cleans easily and wont get jammed up with gunk like fine thread does and figure out a securing mechanism to keep the T-handle tight sort of like a castle and cotter but I want it to be adjustable so as the isolation pads wear down the arm doesnt get sloppy. Did any of that make sense? I know its a stretch but any ideas? I need to learn to draw so I can make drawings you guys can read and understand lol

What do you think Justin?
Also found them in larger T handle style instead of the lever

I think I found something..... Mount one of these on the arm itself, when you 1/4 turn it, it will secure into the top of the bumper and the compression will hold it against the isolators on the stop I have built

my bad...
oh so you can be sarcastic, yet i cant be blunt? :P
gotta send everything. dismantle the jeep first lol
jack... damn someone beat me to it...
wait... im a little confused... are we talking hub caps, or the unit bearing hubs in the front and the bearings in the back?
I personally would completely dismantle the axle and send each component out to a forensic lab to try and identify where the grease came from, then inspect that specific area under great scrutiny using an electron microscope to see if there was an actual problem.
Hey, either you have a problem, or peace of mind....right?
