I'm hoping that was the problem as I didn't see anything else wrong with it. We'll see today when I get home from work.
Good deal. His amp probably has a built in crossover set to LP so you get only bass. If its easily changed set it to HP to listen but if a buzz and thump were there before it would be heard no matter what so it's safe to assume that your amp is damaged some. Good luck.

was kicking around the idea for the JK, but they're $1000+. And I'd have to run a switch on the dash. Doors come off in the summer. And I'd lose my rails.

What I have not figured out...how in the heck to get the engine out of Tim's on site. Seems a rather uncomfortable situation and would involve getting an engine hoist, and people/tools out there, and I don't even know how Tim's sits right now as far as access. Not to mention, potentially trespassing since we do not have permission to be there...Mike does.

It's a logistical nightmare and I am not sure it will get done at all...not to mention, a lack of volunteers to pull that engine out of Tim's.

Only reason I am involved is I feel bad for what has happened to Mava....she gave a month. I know she was getting an unusual deal to get this done, but once you count on someone, it makes you stop looking for alternatives, and at this point she is kinda screwed.
I offered the engine, but I don't have time to help. Between work, finishing my move, and trying to get my own Jeep fixed, I just can't. Hope someone steps up, though.

I have his name, addy, and phone, so that's more than we had at first.
I've had name, addy, and phone number for a couple months, but I didn't wanna throw it around since he's just a buddy of Mike's. Everyone, please only bother him if you have to, and keep the number of contact personnel to a minimum. He's being extremely generous to strangers.

This guy is in Frederick. I see him a couple times a month, and last time I looked, it was for sale.
