nice, bet it'll be nice having that back. wednesday my blue XJ is going to the shop to get looked at and to see what all needs to be fixed to pass inspection. also probably getting temp tags that day as well.

Boring isnt to make it stronger it is to straighten the bores, they will wear with use and if they are not straight the rings will leak.... You also want a good crosshatch on the bore itself for the rings to make a seal to.

Blue book is like $3-4k on these. Actual market value is around $7k in good shape. I could see that one with a sticker for $10-11k on a lot, but I wouldn't say it's worth more than $9k in the current market.
