Mine look identical to his

piece of 1" angle and a piece of flat stock, welded and two holes drilled for extra stability.

seems like it's a myth (somewhat) because they forget an all-important adjustment factor that is dependent on the type of cable used (losses and whatnot), which makes perfect sense to me.

just let me know. we're starting to slowly move stuff over to the new house, but the garage will probably be one of the last things moved.

the power for the CB can come from anywhere, but the ground you want to go straight to the battery. the battery will act as a power filter.

stay with the 18 foot coax. everything has to be paired. 50 ohm radio, 50 ohm cable, 50 ohm antenna. otherwise there will be tuning issues galore.

no nac-fest for me this year. i got paid last friday and i am broke (bills, gas, tolls, food, lawyer) all because of this damn peace order. so if anyone isnt going, and needs some work done, lemme know. my phone will prolly be cut off by the end of the week, so pm me here or jakbobmilly@gmail.com. hope to see yall on the other side.

mmm looks like the RG6 cable I have won't work well for a CB since it's 75ohm...damn...

well he said it came with a cable just one connector was broke, so i think i'll buy a new connector and bring the tools so I can re-fit it there

a crappy suction cup mount, an assortment of stick-ons and one to attach it to round tubing. I can easily rig up a magnetic mount if you don't mind a magnet on your paint...
