the suction cup mounts actually work! we stick them on the bottom of the wings on the airplanes here and fly around with them on

you should try making a magnet mount with some thin fabric over it so it won't scratch

I am wondering how overboard I should go with the magnet... I have an old magnetic mount for a dial indicator so you can mount and demount easily but then for the strong factor I also have a few 12" dead woofers laying around that I can grab magnets out of lol
