This morning in the elevator at the parking garage, a guy got on carrying a huge roll of bubble wrap. Everyone kind of looked at him, the doors closed, and he went, "Oh please! Go ahead!", and he held it out. An older guy, a young couple, an old lady with a dog, and myself all proceeded to pop a few bubbles each during the trip down. Bubble wrap, the great equalizer.

Ok guys...Chris is down with everyone coming out. His only comment...."TREAD LIGHTLY".

Pack in, pack out....please respect his land and leave no trash in the yard. He will have cans for disposal of empties.

If we are good...we may be able to hang out there more often.

Thanks

Update: Shop A, my local Shell station, looked at my 88 Jeep Cherokee and said I needed a thermostat and coolant flush and refill to make my jeep stop over heating. They would charge me an hour labor and some ridiculous parts and coolant cost. $140.00. I let them do it and drove it home by which time it was overheating. Went back, they looked at it again the next day. They said both fans in front are working, can't find any indication that fluids that have no business mixing are mixing, i.e. no coolant on the oil dipstick, no oil in the coolant, voluntarily gave me $75.00 back and said i should keep their thermostat and they think it is a head gasket issue.

Took it down the street to Rising Sun motors which was highly rated on internet and on the Car Talk mechanic finder section. $60 charge for a diagnosis. They said they suspect it was the thermostat and I should change it. I said the thermostat is brand new. They said well maybe it was installed wrong or backward. We can do further diagnosis but will cost $195. Was pretty satisfied with the people at the Shell station and the voluntary refund. Not thrilled with the 2nd $60 diagnosis turning up nothing but a request for more money to further diagnose.

Any ideas on who to turn to in College Park, MD area? If so called professionals who make their living and feed their families in this business can't easily figure out what ails my antique Jeep I lose hope that an un-savvy fellow like myself armed with nothing but YouTube and a tool set from Ikea is going to do much better?
