Adding. Get a receiver/ drier too. We will have to flush it a little but I will supply that and you pay me for the materials.
What do you think about that r12 replacement they sell, freeze12 or something. Its apparently a compatible r12 replacement.

what would it cost for you to pull a vacuum on my system once I get the condenser replaced?

havent met a cop that the first has been an issue, and to get historic tags the second does not apply.

No experience with it. Only cost would be for materials. Flush-x and nitrogen 30-40$

However with Historic you aren't supposed to be altered in anyway
"The vehicle cannot be substantially altered, remodeled or remanufactured from its original design."

define "substantially altered". that adjective right there gives you some wiggle room.

Highway is fine. The application for historic tags states that it will be used for shows, parades, and like activities, and that it will not be a daily driver/primary mode of transportation. I have been pulled over in it, and they didn't say a word about the plates. It is currently my only vehicle registered anywhere.

You just quoted it saying "substantially." It can be altered, but not significantly, and not outside it's original intended purpose.

Either way, I'm changing this to Street Rod next year when it turns 25, and I'll be putting historic tags on my Camaro when it gets here.
