Welcome to the Forum, Croxy.
Infohound, you'll get a lot of useful info here if you listen, but we meet up a lot, hang out, and mistreat each other. My best advice to you is to get a build sheet from Jeep by clicking here and filling out the information. Give them your VIN, and they'll tell you every option your XJ came with. That will put any confusion to rest.
And whoever it was, can you not report this thread? It's a chat thread, and we're all friends here. Well, maybe not Jake, but the rest of us get along alright. If you have a problem, say it without being passive aggressive or starting a fight. If you don't wanna do that, just don't talk to the person with whom you wish to avoid. I don't wanna see this thread closed, and it's a bad sign when mods have to come into a local chat thread. Of course, JeepingDan is the exception cause nobody takes him seriously.

there's some potiony stuff that you can get called, wait for it, Sun Burnt. Takes the red and sting away. Kinda like aloe, but works a little better. Can find it at Walgreens.

I don't know why you insist on bashing my Jeep that you have never seen but if you would like to see it in person just private message me. I would also like to encourage you to put your money where your mouth is, bring a $100 bill and as many of the Jeep people on this forum as you want and when you all confirm that I have the original dash board, stock, with actual miles, you leave the money behind and start helping me instead of jerking me around. Deal? Or are you just into bashing? I am free most nights after 6pm and welcome all the back up Jeep inspectors you wish to bring.
I got some guy on here claiming my Jeep doesn't have the orig miles or dashboard. He hasn't seen the Jeep. He bases it on where my gauges are located. My gauges match where the owners manual say they should be. I had Chevy guy and Chevy wife over to look at it and he was talking to Chevy Guy and claiming my miles aren't legit. Based on a phone call.
honestly i call people on bs. thats just my nature. take it for what it is worth, or dont. it doesnt matter to me. you dont want to believe that your super base model renix xj (ask around, im kinda the MD renix guru guy) has an inaccurate mileage, and build sheet. then dont.

Jake, I didn't realize he had a Renix. I caught up on the app after I got home from work. I can't even get a build sheet for my MJ, and it kinda pisses me off.

Hound, insulting family isn't a good idea with Jake. Might wanna find something else to pick on him about. Don't worry, though, you have plenty of options
