I think it came from comments such as this. It's the internet, if you don't like a post, take your own advice and ignore it. You know I like you bud, I'm not picking sides. I could care less what went down between the two of you. All I've seen is all the obnoxious posts this morning.

i am not bashing your jeep. you do not know me but i am letting you know that your jeep does not have the correct mileage. not because of the "location" of your gauges, but the gauge cluster itself. Base Model XJs of the renix era never came with the full cluster package. and also, your "build sheet" is non applicable because when chrysler bought amc, there were changes in the VIN and build data. unless you wanna back that you dont have the original 4 cylinder motor (which i have had an xj with a 4 cylinder) that was swapped with the 4.0.

The one about the harness...
^^ but I must agree... Yes Momma Dukes.
Once and for all. I have a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Limited with a 6 cylinder engine and the original dashboard and mileage and someone claiming I'm a liar. I'm okay with that provided they plan to come see it and then post a public apology and leave behind a $100 bill when they are proven wrong. I encourage them to brng anyone from this forum they choose to help them determine the authenticity of my claims. And if they can't take these simple steps I encourage them to stop making false claims. Isn't that fair.
Should've posted this before last night...had a spider crawl on me and scare me. Think it would've worked on a spider??
