seen plenty of ATs on jeeps. no use of getting MTs if you're not gonna use em. XJ is the warden's dd. didn't plan on wheeling it. hindsight is 20/20 I reckon. I haven't used my shovel on mine yet either.. yet

x2. spacers and adapters are two different things. adapters bolt on, spacers slip over your existing lugs. spacers are the scary ones that shouldn't be used.

and I've seen people with MTs stuck too. and my shovel got used on em... nh

I would definitely contest that...but like any piece of technology, they're only as good/safe as their use and installation...

it's cool, i knew what you meant. that was directed at pudgy. i have a set of spidertrax 1.25" adapters and don't see a problem with running them. i've been running mine for a couple of years now without a care, but pudgy's right, you need to know what your doing. red loctite and proper torque and you'll be fine.
