that will work for the initial install, but you missed the part where I said you had to MAINTAIN them (check torque) every couple months.

You can't just put spacers on throw tires on and tighten. Like dukie said, you need a torque wrench, calibrated too. If you screw up the torque you can have a wheel off. If your removing lugs a lot and they get worn out you can have a wheel off. If you don't mate the tire correctly you could have a wheel off. If you stretch a stud pass its threshold you could have a wheel off. Mounting tires can be tricky if you don't know these things. My comment was more for Shirley specifically than a general response to everyone.

come on! this is why i ask...i have no clue what im talking about. but i dont think my canyons will have enough back spacing for 11.5" wide tires.

i know you know your ****, i was just curious if there was something else out there that we don't know that we should. tech talk is the biggest reason i joined this forum and when i have a question i ask it. hence the low post count
