what size u bolt? Does the new driveshaft/axel make it ride differnt? or can you not tell. Where did you find them?

Drives the same. I got the u-bolts from Daves trailer in glen burnie. they are 9/16 so you have to open up the holes on the top spring plate. I forget what size I got but search this thread, I posted a picture of em and I think the size.

I had a die grinder with a $50 bur bit in it. You could use a drill bit too.

Oh im sorry, when i meant where did you find them i meant where did you find the axel and driveshaft? Since the driveshaft from dana 35 is too long for the c8.25 from what im told. Is yours 27 or 29 spline?

29 spline. Guy was parting out another wrecked 99 on Craigslist. I picked up the axle, both drive shafts and interior for $200 I think.

They switched mid 96, but its hit or miss so just go 97 or newer.
