So it turns out i already have a c8.25 axel in hah. So now i dont need the DS. I dont know how it went bad, it was a mail truck so maybe the constant stopping and going, and the going in ditches all the time might have ruined it.
Going at 9:00 tomorrow to pick it up at brandy wine. Have a friend working there who was going to get me a drive shaft and whole rear from a 2000 grand cherokee with only 63k miles for only 400$ hah. Too bad it doesn't have the c8.25. He said he will hook me up.

Hey jakbob. Do you know how to put a new rear in? How hard is it? Got quoted 200$ in labor. Maybe you can do better ?

only two rears came in a 2000. 8.25 or d35. dont go with the d35. that is WAY too much for a chit axle.

yes ive done a rear or two in my time. problem is i lack a place to do it.

you need a hydralic lift jakbob? I might be able to get down to my aunts boyfriends house, don't know if you would do all that tho. He lives on kent island. about 5 mins from your work actually

oh and greenwire, i cant help but stress.

if you pay 400 dollars for a d35 rear, we will laugh. stop by my work (after 5, by the loading dock) and ill see if i can tell whats wrong without crackin the cover.
