free flowing > sound
The catalytic converter is by far the biggest restriction. Since you have a 2001 you probably have precats though...but it'll still make a difference to replace the main one with a hi-flow model (Magnaflow is what I have). As for mufflers I like flowmasters - they have ones that are quieter than the super40 series I have though...

Dukie I figure this is what you are talking about when you mentioned precats http://performance-curve.com/642311-...r-1-1-1-1.aspx

Question:
So the kid that bought my Jeep made a deal with me that he did not have all the money for my Jeep so he just wanted the Jeep and the lift. So I gave him the front and rear springs and shocks.
We were all happy.
Today he is texting wanting to know if he can buy the other stuff....but it is worth MUCH more than he still would have owed.
Since we made an agreement that at the time we were all happy with, should I just tell him to get packing?
Thoughts? I can use all the rest on my current rig.

Tell him to beat feet. Deal has been made, hands have been shook.
