PM the guy, his forum is closed now due to fraudulent allegations, but if you read through all posts, he makes and sells a good product. RescueGreen, Jeep I just bought has one that this guy sold to PO, and he had nothing but good to say about it. You want mount only, $36 shipped, just specify if you want driver's side or pass side...

I use firestik and personally think they look better on xjs then the pencil thin stainless whips. I also use my radio to chat with buddys not on trail quite frequently and use the weather radio daily. Also
M&G at RC tomorrow and sunday, NACfesters only lol

Coil antennas like firesticks offer no better performance than your standard whip antenna. My $50 midland cb and $20 radioshack antenna will perform just as well. Besides, no one here will use their cb more than to talk to another truck in the convoy offroading.
This coming from an infantry grunt that had the pleasure of learning ASIP, SINCGARS, HARRIS, MBIRTR, and SATCOM radios in afghaniland. Our company RTO blew major *****. I blame it on his lazy eye.
