I have seen applications ask, "Have you been convicted of a crime in the past five years?", and have answered truthfully, "No". Then thru the interview process they bring up my charges that are well over five years old and ask why I didn't list them. I point out what the application states, and they point out that the position has been filled and are no longer hiring.

*typing quick, I spelled "hiring" with highering, sheesh
My daughter is going through the same thing. She has applied at several places and aced the test that they give and then call to say some stuff about being over qualified or they are not hiring for the location that she applied for. I'm currently working with her to get the felony removed because it has been longer than 5 years and it was a nonviolent crime committed when she was 18 ,young, dumb, stupid, and easily persuaded.

she should have lost her job !!!!. why didn't you report her,she was totally out of line with that comment? I wish I had known you back then. I would have raised so much hell that you would get benefits for life.that's why when someone goes postal in one of the government places,I am saddened by the loss of innocent life;but on the other hand there is only so much a person can take before mental breakdown

So I have a vacation coming up. I'll be off July 4-15th. I wanted to do a bunch of stuff if I can get some help. I want to do an SYE, rear hitch, front tow hooks, front hockey puck bump stops, and possibly front coils and rear shackles. Was really hoping to do it July 7-8 if enough people can help. Cordelia and Oliver, would your place be available anytime during those dates? Any takers???
