yes. on the wire schematics it shows as the "gear selector switch"

my money is on the headlight switch. i bet if his running lights in the back arent working, neither are the front. and his dash lights being on all the time. something is melted. should i get to building a harness for ya?

The front lights work, the dash lights I wired to a hot wire. When someone went in there to install a new sound system they messed everything up.
