You shouldn't until a condition exists that warrants it. i.e. AC is on, engine is above 215...etc.

Run jumpers to the battery to see if it works.

i put the AC on, but it still had no power. maybe i should turn it on, drive it around, let get it a little hot and check the voltage.

Take a picture of the mysterious hose. It may be the TC vent or diff vent....

Aux fan should come on with AC.....

Check the AUX fan fuse in the PCM....then swap relays to see if it is the relay...

none - stick with the 195* - the 180* will just open sooner and won't let the engine reach operating temp in the winter

Am about to order the birtbound fan kit. Anyone know which size fan controller I should I get 5/8s or the 3/4 to go with the CSF 2671 radiator.
