Well when I go home, I'll look at my information and springs then I'll let you know. I know my springs are between 4-4.5"

Depending on the time I'm down for a little meet and greet at BWW in College Park/ Beltsville. I live maybe 5 minutes from there.

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I recently sold my dub and bought an 2000 XJ. The VW couldent get me to a ski mountain anymore lol. I am trying to get it lifted at least 3 inches with 30-31's. It is odd going from as low as possible to getting as high as possible, but I like it so far.

I am located in the Silver Spring/Burtonsville area. Always open to any tips or parts people might have or if anyone wants to get together in the area.

My eye to eye length is 48"
Eye to eye around bottom leaf is 53" I checked this a few times to make sure
Ground to arch on my spring while its upside down is 9 1/4"
My springs do have 6 leafs and I matched the arch in all 6 leafs
By looking at some info it's looks like yours are between 3 and 3.5" maybe 4.
Now I think mine are 4.5" exactly. I could always take your springs to the spring shop and get a extra leaf added and all leafs matched and a new center pin, I'm not sure what it will cost

I have another jeep I probably need to get rid of. This one doesn't run though. My buddy got it started but it was making a knocking sound and spewing oil everywhere. I'm going to take the tie rod and drag link and the gas tank skid but other than that probably going to get rid of it. Anyone here interested? It's a 96 grand Cherokee. I'll check the miles if anyone is interested. The battery is dead and I couldn't check yesterday.

I will be heading up to Conowingo Dam area today, I hope to arrive around 11-12. If anyone wants to meet up I would be down. I don't know the area at all I'm mainly just going to do a little exploration and birding. If I get the jeep a little muddy its a plus. Shoot me a PM if you are down.

I leave my apartment at 10:50 and when I get back at 12:10 after doing some Christmas shopping the same rock star parking space was open. Now I could of parked on spot back but that would mean that the next person would have to go through the hassle of parallel parking. So being a considerate person, I pulled forward into the spot that I had earlier in the morning.
An hour and half goes by and I go out to move my XJ and I have a 52 dollar ticket. The ticket says that I was parked there from 9:22 (says that the tires were marked, I didn't see any markings) till 12:45.
I went into the building and the manager of the place shows me the surveillance system that has a clear video of me leaving and coming back, with my XJ in full view of the camera when I returned. So I got a copy on CD and I got the receipt from the store across town so that I was there at 11:45. I figured that I would be able to win if I took it to court, but when I called to contest the ticket the women said that there was a rule stating that you could only use a parking spot for two hour once every calender day.
Has anyone one heard of this or had to deal with it? I will be getting the RPP as soon as I have a second piece of proof that I live here. Apparently a signed lease isn't enough.
Looking at the Baltimore City code, there is only one area where this rule would apply - the area they call "Oakenshawe".
http://www.livebaltimore.com/neighbo...st/oakenshawe/

Any other area this would not apply.

Here's the traffic code - you're looking for section 10-28.

And here's where you go to appeal it

On a better note, I measured my leaf packs.
Eye to eye, straight: 49.5"
Eye to eye, around the bottom leaf: 53"
Ground to arch (upside down): 8"
5 leafs in each pack.

Also picking up my new headlights tomorrow from the post office.
Unfortunately...when it comes to springs arch/length means nothing. The spring rate is what determines how much lift you get. You won't know until you out them on.

Good news is they're definitely XJ springs though! And 5 leafs mean either a HD upcountry pack, or an add-a-leaf (assuming they are OEM springs and not aftermarket)
