Just picked up the new xj (99 classic)(yes another 1) only issue it is having is its running alil hot at 220 and the aux fan will kick on and not turn off,& at times the gauge pings right to 250 for a min but isnt overheating then goes back down to 220.replaced the waterpump, thermostat, flushed the system, new temp sending unit,
put a zj fan clutch on and no difference.any ideas

Mine ended up being a clogged up OEM Radiator, seems somewhere down the line of PO's someone had put in radiator sealer. I had chunks in my overflow bottle, and when I was taking out the old Radiator it wouldn't flow worth a damn. So I upgraded radiator to a 3 core and stays nice and cool.

Beautiful inside & out but what sold me was no rust,8.25,all electronics worked & the ac actually is ice cold. Paying1000 didnt hurt either
