On top of it, just got back from the Dr's and didn't get good news there either. Anybody that needs welding done, lets get it wrapped up by the end of Feb. cause I will be out of commission for a while after that....
I'm sorry about the bad news from the doctors. Hopefully it's nothing super serious.

Well....
T&T customs has a Truss system for the Ford 8.8 for a ZJ. If you read the website it says Trackbar mount is included, and also says upper control arm mount is welded on. If you look at the picture on their website, it shows this. Find out today that you have to pay extra for it. Even the instructions show the upper mounts as being included. I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere in this case...
To cut a long story short on the Dr, my upper spine is "compressed" and I have bone spurs in my neck that need to come off....

That's what you get for not fabbing something yourself. Really, that sucks, man.. And I'm sorry to hear about the doc. Can you weld in a neck brace, or is that bedridden type surgery?

That's some tough news from the Doctor. I'm sure everything will turn out ok though.

In this case, it was not cost effective for me to fab up the truss, otherwise I would have in a heartbeat..
I will know after the holidays which direction we are going with my neck. I have to get approval from the insurance company for an MRI first. If I can avoid surgery I will but it's not looking good...

well if you have spurs they have to be removed. But usually that can be done orthoscopically without slicing you open. My fiance had that done to her knee.

I have an angle grinder that's still awaiting its maiden voyage... I bet I'm cheaper than a doctor, too.

I'm going through the same thing right now for my right shoulder. 6 weeks of Phys Therapy to make the shoulder stronger before surgery. Then surgery to remove the bone spur in the shoulder then 6 more weeks of phys therapy.

Good luck with everything.
