Get it running, pop the hood, and spray one thing at a time with WD-40 til the noise goes away. Start with pulleys.

Good point. If you grab the belt--wait. Turn off your Jeep. If you grab the belt between that idler pulley and your PS pulley, you should be able to turn it 90°. If you can easily turn it more than that, it's too loose. If you struggle to turn it 90, it's too tight.

You're welcome back here anytime. If my schedule holds, I'll be off that Fri/Sat/Sun. It seems like that's gonna be a very busy weekend around here, but I don't think I've committed to anything yet. I'd like to go again, especially if we can meet up and watch you get high-centered.
