Good point. If you grab the belt--wait. Turn off your Jeep. If you grab the belt between that idler pulley and your PS pulley, you should be able to turn it 90°. If you can easily turn it more than that, it's too loose. If you struggle to turn it 90, it's too tight.

Actually, the comma before isn't needed, it’s not necessary when the phrase can be considered one unit.
