My guess is the amount of oil is because the engine came out of a jeep that was a "rollover" . The shop just called to ask if the rad was changed when the engine was swapped and if not was I having the issue prior to swap? They will call back as they still had not done a diag on the xj. Good thing I left it or I would have been one red hot sister because my appt was at 10am. Do you know how mad you need to be to make a woman of my complexion red hot?

Breaking Bad really likes the good jeeps. there was a Comanche just like tim's in it. though it didn't have primer all over it, and it had a rear bumper

I went through it well over two dozen times with the XJ, and it never caused me to lose control of the vehicle. It's just a nuisance.
Well, you can't buy an XJ off the showroom floor anymore. The JK has been marketed to a different audience too. So you're getting folks buying them that have no intention of wheeling because they don't want them for that but want to be part of the Jeep lifestyle. And yes, that includes some are mechanically uninclined that don't do research or even what what they are buying. The typical XJ owner and typical JK owner aren't even in the same ballpark. A person buying an XJ probably expects to wheel it and go barreling through mud holes and has the ability to fix stuff when it breaks, hell, that's half the fun.

Most people who lift XJs lift them for offroading.
True, but it happens a lot on the JKs, regardless of cheapo or $2K lifts, it's still happening. Is it Jeep's fault, nope. Is it the aftermarket companies fault, maybe, I don't think that has been fixed by these companies R&D depts. There's something different with the design that makes DW happen more frequently. How much lift/trim/mod do you need to do to get 35s under a TJ? Only takes 2.5" on a JK, and TWSS.
Believe it or not, a lot people who lift their JKs lift them for offroading and not just mallcrawling.
