Let me expand on the issue.
Piston rings worn to the point the block pressurizes and blows unburnt fuel/oil into the airbox to the point that the air filter was 100% coated.
Oil pressure low, so bad that after a long drive, it will drop to 0 at a dead stop. Suspect crank bearings.

Yeah sounds alot better, till you learn that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I have installed many a used motor just to be pulling it again in a few months because something was horribly wrong. I always at minimum put fresh gaskets in and check ring gap and end play on bearings while the motor is out....

I have been contemplating converting the pickup to a fuelie setup.... thoughts? I have finally found a decent kit with very simple tuning.
