well, the thing with the JK is how much better the ride is, and it's a nice interior. basically I would sacrifice to have a SWB vehicle. though after some more researching and whatnot I've decided on an LJ. the unlmited is just too big for me. the LJ is just right, kinda like in the story with the 3 bears = D

I have now been told the weight of the tranny and t-case will allow the engine to tilt back far enough to get to the freeze plug. Just disconnect the driveline and drop the crossmember.

Since I have to do all that to drop the tranny anyway....think I will try to get to it before I do.

Can't hurt.

I think my jeep overheard me and jake talking about powersteering yesterday. My steering got "heavier" last night. Either the pump is going out or the box is.

Hello durango box/WJ pump swap. Guess I know where I'm heading this weekend.
