In an ideally configured suspension, you don't need a stabilizer. It's a comfort thing. Yours is likely warn out due to age and use, and it wouldn't hurt to replace it, but it's far from necessary.

I may be getting the title to the '98 I just bought. If that's the case I'm lowering it to around 3.5" (what I take off the 2 door) and putting the 32's on it. I have the parts to fix the front end damage and it only has 82K miles on it. That's still up in the air. I'm also trying to get a place nearby on 12 acres that has trails and backs to more woods near bowie state

The last time I got 4x2 tube it was $4.50 a foot. I use 2x2 square and 4x.25 bar for the mounts and I think 1.5x.125 to fill the space under the taillights. the 2x2 square was $2 per foot and the 4" bar was $2.27 last time I bought them. I buy a couple sticks at a time so I get a little discount but that will get you in the ball park.
