Alright, now Tim gave me a 1" tc drop will that be all I need.

Should be fine on an 89...yes. I would not even install it till after you go 4.5 and see if you need it.

Like he said, HD shackle relocators in the back, maybe with extended shackles depending on height. Coil spacers up front, and don't install the TC drop unless you know need it.

so i have a late model 96. anyway to tell if i have the 27 or 29 spline? without taking the dif off.
