I'd be up for Legore. I gotta try out these Destination M/Ts in the mud. We could push the meeting time to 9?

Let's play fix my SBC. '91 Camaro Z28, 5.7L TPI
Thought it was leaking something, but it was condensate from the A/C. Ticking increases with RPM. Don't know how long it's been doing it cause I can't hear it in the driver seat. I drove it for about a half hour, parked for an hour with the motor running, and it was sluggish when I put it in drive. It won't idle forward, and it stops abruptly when I let off the gas.
While typing, I've just thought it may have to do with my brakes. It sometimes pulls left when I apply brakes, and if that side is dragging, it would explain the issues with movement. Still don't know about the ticking, though. I'm useless with engines.
EDIT: Google says what I was thinking.. lifter tapping. Common answer is to do an oil change. The motor has less than 750 miles on it, and it's had two oil changes. My oil pressure gauge is the only one that doesn't work because it has the wrong sending unit.

Yes I highly recommend conventional for atleast the first 3K miles then if you REALLY want to you can run a blend but I would stick with conventional. Is the valvetrain all new? I am assuming you have hydraulic lifters... a bad lifter would give you the valve tick aswell as the incorrect valve lash. and yes it could also be a loud injector. Touch the valve covers when it is making the tick, if you can feel it, its not an injector.
