Thats not portal... the "axleshaft" cv joint whatever, goes directly into the back of the hub... humvee axles have the axleshaft come into the top of the backing plate. I cant comment on unimogs.

If im not mistaken.

I dont do oil changes anymore. Today i was replacing the bushings on the radius arm on a dodge ram 3500 van. ***** and a half. Then repacked the bearings in another ram 3500 ram. Even though i told them it was ball joints... which is what it turned out to be.

I dunno why they dont listen. Oh well...
