so in the "one car too far" episode where the D35 breaks, he calls it a freak accident....im judging his knowledge on cars if he doesn't know that axle sucks. that was one of the first things I learned about jeeps.
they even call him a skilled off-road driver and he doesn't know how crappy the D35 is.

I think you will have better luck using some structural adhesive Mike, that way you dont have to drill holes in the cowl and then let water in.

stuff is amazing, just take a spot down to bare metal on the cowl, adhesive both sides put some wax paper on a rock or something heavy to hold down the tab till it sets. Body guys use it to glue on the quarter panels on cars
