I wanted to go to Flagpole since my Jeep is still stock and I don't want to damage anything, but I'm willing to go anywhere. I'll even head to Trails Rd if we have enough people.

If anyone wants to go to flagpole,...
get to Harrisonburg you get on 33 west going towards west Virginia you follow it through court square and just stay straight it's going to be around 10 miles and you will come to the mountain. Stay on 33 and follow it up the mountain when you get almost to the top there will be a road on your left that says switzer lake take that road and follow it around the lake It will take you up the trails that trail will dump you out in one of 3 places hone quarry union springs/quarry or reddish **** wv by sugar grove navy base.

BTW, now that I'll be installing a lift soon I need some armor and protection. I would like at the minimum factory skidplates and some sliders. I was looking at JCR sliders. Does anyone have an opinion. I'm looking for the type without the extra bars that stick out since I don't want to get pants dirty when I get in the truck. (Sounds sissy I know but I had a Toyota FJ with sliders and that was one of the things I hated). I hate to buy factory skid plates and then upgrade later so if they factory ones suck let me know. I like the looks of the front one since I drive through lots of light brush when I go to Indiana. It would keep the twigs out of the fan and belt. The gas tank skid looks pretty strong to me and I don't plan on draggin my XJ up rocks on a regular basis, I just want it capable. What about the trans skid? Any and all opinions are welcome.

If you guys want, I can always call Rausch and see if they can work something out with the membership being it is so close to the New Year...
The Green Trails are just as fun as the other ones....

That looks nice. How far is Trails Rd from us?

I found this about 3 minutes from my house. I don't know what the site looks like now, but it may be fun if nothing else comes to fruition.

Trust me, it was fun in the beginning and went downhill real fast. The wife and I left early, and I ended back out there an hour later. guy got stuck, blew his motor, C&D police show up, and I end up pulling him off out of the swamp he was in 200yds in reverse
He tried to go down the road behind the dog training area off of Summit Bridge. Pond was up and over the road...
