I'm looking at a low mileage f-250 5.4l. I know all about the 7.3l and 6.0l but nothing about the gas motor. What's your opinion besides terrible fuel mileage.

--ok built:4/15/04-delivered:8/28/04-its red w/gray interior, it has a cd player, supercab 4x4,wif 3:73 lsd. the biggest problem i see is really cheep aftmkt filters, coming apart, and clogging some of the critical and narrower oil passages (this is where the light bulb illuminates-ya know fords better idea) and resulting in crank wear, other then that,a strong werkhorse, and hopefully it werent a plow truck and the d-line aint trashed, look hard at where the rust is!!

any ?? axe me n ill try-n-hepp
