The green trails at rausch creek I meant. I took my stock xj up on the 17th, every truck I was with had a lift and at least 32's or bigger. I lead the pack of trucks for awhile. I'm so surprised what my truck could do.

If you wanna take a trip up there and just run the green trails, I'll be happy to go

man I ain't been on in a min... Mike looks like fun! And i can't go anywhere the next week, I am working like 7 days straight 12hrs through new years...

And I have a buddy that lives over by greenridge and they did close half of it off to all off roading..bikes, quads, etc... but the other half is still open.. He went out there not too long ago and rode around.
Oh and they claimed it was too harsh on the wildlife and environment or something like that.

Gonna try and get us into Rausch, if you go we can break off for a bit and do some blues and maybe a blue-black. Give these guys something to look forward too when they get their lifts
I'll call ya Mike when I find something out.

OK guys,
Just checked the Rausch Creek website. Membership is good for 1 year from join date, so everyone will be good until the end of 2012.
But, they are only open Sat-Sun during the winter.

Welcome. I grew up in MoCo and still work there. Only thing I know of is old Baltimore rd becomes unpaved and there is a ford to cross. Everything else I've found is private property.

Welcome to the forum. The only thing I know of in MoCo is old baltimore rd turns into a semi-paved road and there is a ford to cross.

Only other place for stock vehicles is up my way, and that would be a haul for you guys....Can get a stocker down Trails Rd, just not too hot on the idea. If something happens, its a long way to drag em out

Yea, and I don't want to be the cause of everyone else having a shortened day out on the trails.

I spoke with a buddy of mine who's uncle works and lives on the Reliable Asphalt plant in Gambrils, MD. Apparently he goes wheeling on some unpaved roads / trails on that property. I'm going to check that out and report back if it's viable option for a group of us, just to have fun on days we're all off.
