Hello Ladies and Gents. I finally caught up. It's been a busy week and I'll try to remember all the post. Congrats to GF and his wife, nothing more special than expecting a child. Congrats to Justin,I voted for you. Frosty is doing big things in Bowie, may need to start calling him "Frosty the Fabricator". The bumper looks awesome fabulous. Congrats to Shirey on completing a task <jk>,the next lift will be quicker. Jake I'm proud of you for not hitting that DB,but I would still report him for harassment. MC can't wait until you are back on American soil safe and sound.Z congrats on your solo flight.Welcome to the newbies. My XJ is still stock and will probably remain as I can't afford the lift kit.but things could change. I'm also having issues with getting in the stock XJ and need a step,if I get lifted I'll really need a step....Lol.
On another note. The XJ is running good. Jake replaced plugs and discovered a leak from lower hose to water pump and rusted piece from water pump to radiator. My temp is 213-215 so i'm limiting my drive time and keeping close tabs on coolant level, so that I don't overheat. Before Jake did the initial work my temp was a steady 210,is that normal? I need to replace my headlights, any suggestions ? I'm currently running stock and can hardly see the road. The ceiling cover is starting to sag in a few places, what can I do to fix the problem? I used hangers in my very first car,but that was so tacky looking. The only area that remains solid is where the overhead light fixture is placed.I'm asking here how to fix this, but will be going to Google before I get back here. I fixed my computer ,so no more overheating. I have a new addition to my family<will post pics later> Her name is Roxy and she is about 8 weeks old. A rescue kitten that was the runt of the litter. She may just weigh a pound, but very active and just too darn cute.

Update.
Scored a Rock-it Cold Air Intake for a TJ. Had to cut the elbow off and use the stock elbow, trimmed, to make it fit.
Got a bored throttle body on.
Verdict:
1) Definitely a little more in the butt Dyno...how much? Hard to say.
2) The throttle response through ALL gears is INSTANT...ZERO hesitation. She get's up and GOES!
3) Should gain about 2MPG overall, but will have to give it time to measure.
I am very happy with this mod.
Mark....yours is ready to go.
Mike, yours in the mail this week.
The rest of you:
$30 if you bring me yours. $70 to buy one outright, and slower turn around time since I will have to hit the yards and find them....you will be paying $30 for the TB, $30 for the bore, and $10 for my time/gas to go to the yard.
I HIGHLY recommend not doing it to the one ON your Jeep. Keep a stock spare. Go to the yard, pick one up...when you get it back it will look new, and be bored straight through at 60mm, polished, with a polished butterfly.
$30 for this service is a steal.
Will do it through shipping as well, for cost of the ride.

So do I. That's why I said "most" ![Big Grin](https://www.cherokeeforum.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Welcome back. I'm a fan of Sylvania Silverstars if you want a direct replacement. I'd also talk to Jake about making a wiring harness. It'll help with the light output, and it'll greatly reduce the risk of a melting headlight switch.
I'll probably take you up on this once I find mine. You can do Renix as well as HO, right?
