Lol. Why do you not like the idea of running without the rear driveshaft. Dirk at DPG Offroad told me to do it rather than run with vibes and put the stress on the transfer case and rear diff.

What would be the issue?

The rear driveshaft keeps the fluid in the case, if you remove the shaft it will bleed to death Unless you have a sye.

That is true. Unless you disconnected the u joint and put the slip yolk back on.

Just got word one of our planes landed at another airport without the landing gear down...and another is stranded at a different airport with electrical problems... Great. let the fun begin tomorrow at work
