Another day out in storm conditions and loving the Cherokee. That close to just keeping it for winter!

I've swapped one into a tj. I think the brackets were about $300-$350. It took me about a day. It's a lot of measuring and making sure the pinion angle is close enough for adjustment. You usually have the relocate the breather too. I think I used brackets and brake cables from mountain offroad.

The other thing is the center section in slightly off center. Good to know when you are setting up the brackets. I think I took all the measurements off the backing plates.

Which 8.8 is it? Ford switched to disks from drums in '95, if it has drums save your cash for the JY and go pull one from an Explorer or a Mountaineer. Superior Axle also makes a kit that eliminates the c-clip and widens your track width back to D35 spec.

it's just timing, when people go I usually have stuff going on, but my normal summer activities are coming to an end, so I should be free on some weekends.

So I have a boat load of parts that need to go on and I would like your guys help if possible. I can shoot for any weekend in October. It will be at my uncles place in mt. Airy you guys let me know what works for you guys. Plan on doing front coils with spacers, shackles with relocation brackets, trac bar and SYE. Probably take Saturday and Sunday. I'd like to shoot for the first weekend. Can anyone make it??? I'll definitely bring some good beer and will pay for food. Thanks.
