So keep the top part on? Is it fastened separately?

I think you need a t tool when installing quick disconnects. My phone won't let me search the forum right now. I want to go buy it now but can't remember which one I need. Anyone know off the top of their head?

The one's I'm making? The only thing to be removed is the bottom stud, which is pressed in.

I assume you have a grinder - the best way I've come across is to grind off the head of the bolt/stud thing, put the nut back on the other side, and tighten it till the stud pops out. No puller required!

Heat helps too if it's really in there, but with the nut trick it should pop right out.
