you might be my go to guy for the welding... my buddy who welds is a bit, how would you say... flakey. i just need to find someone who either a.) has a car lift or b.) can jack up the jeep high enough for us to work on (im leaning towards a more cause i have a phobia of going under vehicles on jacks/jackstands since that one time a 94 suburban almost took my arm off...)
also (since you are UBER far away from me) if i have to take it to a shop to get it welded... how can i find out if the guy can even weld? i dont want a bunch of boogers...

A lift would be a good idea, but there are ways around that that are safe.

Ferndale is about 1 1/2 hrs from me, I can handle that. Do you have the measurements for the longarm brackets? Try and give me 2 weeks lead time, my schedule is pretty hectic for the most part, if I can plan 2 weeks ahead I normally can keep them...

the longarm brackets are built into the crossmember. all i would need is to essentially weld the lip of the crossmember to the body. and a couple stitch welds for the trac bar mount. guy said it was maybe 15 minutes welding, if everything is prepped. blue is where i need the welds..

brian and jakbob, I'm willing to help with your lifts just let me know when I just got done doing 2 of my buddies...don't figure the longarm will be too bad. you dont need a lift but it would be nice to do both ends at once.
