also (since you are UBER far away from me) if i have to take it to a shop to get it welded... how can i find out if the guy can even weld? i dont want a bunch of boogers...
Ferndale is about 1 1/2 hrs from me, I can handle that. Do you have the measurements for the longarm brackets? Try and give me 2 weeks lead time, my schedule is pretty hectic for the most part, if I can plan 2 weeks ahead I normally can keep them...
A lift would be a good idea, but there are ways around that that are safe.

the longarm brackets are built into the crossmember. all i would need is to essentially weld the lip of the crossmember to the body. and a couple stitch welds for the trac bar mount. guy said it was maybe 15 minutes welding, if everything is prepped. blue is where i need the welds..

***note that i am not belittling your trade of welding... it is just the same to me because i know by default, nothing about welding***

Gonna need a big jack alone to get it high enough... A couple of pavers and jackstands will support it. Do the front first, then the rear. That's how I did mine, no mishaps whatsoever and I had to use the 24" breaker bar with some a$$ behind it more than once
Got the jackstands if you need em...
