I agree the extra tools and lift are great, plus heat and air line run to every bay. and it is always first come first serve, sometimes if they have alot of people they just make a list. If you get there early shouldnt be a problem though.
On another note, I will be taking my old 96 to the shop on Detrick and it is also gettin a 3" lift/rear axle swap. Not sure of when yet as we are also working crazy hours here. This is all for a buddy on my shift i sold the jeep to. Will post up when i know when...

My apartment complex has some shady people working for them. I cant wait to move.
This is the second time the towing company has tried to tow one of my 2 vehicles and the second time I had to get the police involved so they would leave.
This morning, a tow truck tried to tow my Jeep at 3am, his reason was it was expired tags. I told him he needs to look again & showed him renewed registration and good tags (dont expire til 2013) and he said its already in the air and he was taking it, i told him if he did that, it was illegal and its not my fault that he couldnt read & count.
His logic was and i quote he said, "because the registration is for virginia, it does not have any jurisdiction here in maryland".
what a freaking dumba**
I said so your trying to tell me that if my vehicle is legal to drive in one state its not in another? and he said yes.
I said are you just dumb, stupid or just plain ignorant? He goes, well if you have piece of paper says you can drink on the street in one state, does it mean you can drink in another? I said sure, its called a brown paper bag & a 40, aren’t you familiar with that one?
And he literally just stood there and looked at me for a minute and then went about his business.
He said he wasnt dropping it without a payment and i said if he tried to leave with my jeep it was going to be the last thing he ever did. He just kept going on like he was leaving. Every time he tried to strap up my vehicle i just undid it. pretty simple to do, just ratchet straps (this went on for like 5 mins, just going around in a circle around the vehicle) He said come on man, stop touching my stuff, i said well stop touching my jeep, it actually sounded like he was whining a little bit. lol
So, after that he just got in his cab and was going to just take it / take off without securing it. Off course I thought about just getting in the jeep, turning over the ignition and when he tries to leave just drive it off and it would come off the back end of his forks, but instead, I opened the door to his cab and he was like dont touch my vehicle, I was like dont touch mine. I told him it was 4wd vehicle and the E-Brake was on and if he leaves with only 2 wheels in the air, & not on a flatbed, he would damage my axels. He said, no it not / no it wont and he didn’t care either way.
So I stood in front of the truck and told him he wasn’t leaving til the police got here and told me otherwise. And then I dared him/told him he was going to have to run me over to get me out of the way, mind you I was on the phone with 911 dispatch by this time, (he could see the phone to my ear) dispatch heard him rev his diesel and she asked if he actually hit me, I said yes he bumped me and then told him 911 heard him hit me & if he tried it again I was going to press full charges and his truck would be leaving by tow truck and him with handcuffs. Of course he couldn’t hear me in the cab so, he smiled and he rev’d his engine again and she heared it again and asked if he hit me again with his vehicle, I said no he had the brake on this time.
Because I wouldn’t move, he got out and he called his buddies on speakerphone, who said they would be there in a minute and then proceeded to roll in 5 deep; but by then the cops were on there way and were actually right behind them by the time they tried to open their doors to get out, I tell you what if his buddies would have left any faster they would of left tire marks.
I explained what happened to the cops; & he tried to tell the cops the same logic he used on me and they just looked at him & they asked him if he was serious & when he said yes they asked if he was new to towing lol.
They explained to him what he was doing was technically illegal (grand theft auto / extortion) and he could be facing a civil lawsuit on his hands & they came to me and tried to explain to me that they really didn’t have anything they could arrest him for as far as towing is concerned since it is a apartment complex and something about some different rules & they dont usually get involved with matters of towing disputes and the only thing I could do would be to go get it in the morning pay the fee and then sue.
I told the cops about him hitting me with his vehicle and I said he can either drop my vehicle and leave or I will press charges for him hitting a pedestrian (me) with his motor vehicle and I have a 911 dispatch who heard it / has it on tape and I have 3 witnesses standing outside who saw it and then I will charge the company with a civil suit, which means he leaves in handcuffs and loses his drivers license.
They gave him the option and he left, without my vehicle.
After the police left, he actually rolled back in about 30 mins later driving thru the parking lot with 2 trucks and 2 cars (filled with people) but this time but I was still standing outside talking to the other people who were witnesses and they stopped just short of my vehicle, flashed there high beams at each other and rolled (backwards) out of there without any vehicles.
What a way to start my morning…
Now that I got that off my chest, time to get ready for work.

Glad you kept your Jeep, Doc. Hope they don't do anything stupid to get back at you... From my limited experience, tow truck drivers have been the scum of the earth.
