well I cut the rods to length last night, and have all the hardware sorted. Need to fabricate the upper mounts, cut the spacers, and shave the pins for the bottom and they'll be done. I hope to get a lot of that done this weekend.

maybe if you keep going, you can pull the head off still, and then be able to get the broken bolts (assuming they didnt break flush with the head...)

Are these DDs? I would not put a 12.5 on a 7" wide rim. 8" wide sure. It's on the threshold and you can get away with it. . You may wear tires prematurely. If its straight off road rig it's probably not that big a deal because they are going to last that long anyways. What kind of tire also matters.

nah i'll just adjust the pressure to get a full contact patch, and yes it's my DD. It'll end up being a little taller and not as wide but my research tells me it'll work/ride/wear fine if properly inflated.

I know - that wasn't mine. It's in my "near future mods" plan. Home Depot sells sheets of 48x36 galvanized steel (near the mechanical ducting or steel stock) for <$15. Cut to fit and attach with self-tapping screws

Hey, folks. Wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of 4 of these wheels (6 lug, spacing from a '98 GMC pickup).
Having trouble uploading. Will fix it when work slows down.
