Dumb question but I must learn somehow. The rear wheel hub is part of the axle shaft assembly, correct? I'm still working on fixing this wheel wobble.

yessir. One piece.

There is a seal and a bearing press fit into the axle tube, then the shaft passes though them

Pressure is the key for sure.

and passt... when you took off the wheel, did you spin the hub to see if you could still see the wobble?

Yes I did. It was hard to tell if there was any wobble at that point because of the small size of the hub as compared to the tire. I don't think there was any though.

So, if the axle shaft and hub are one piece, do I have to remove or do anything special with the seal and bearing in order to get the old shaft out and the new one in?

to remove the shaft you need to open the differential (drain the fluid) and remove the c-clip that holds the axle in place. Other than that no, but if you're pulling the axle may as well replace the seal/bearing while you're in there.

Got the pic. Figured I'd ask here before CL in case anyone is interested. I'll have them in MD toward the end of February.

Got it. Any special tool(s) needed for removal, replacement of said seal/bearing?

It gets a little tricker with lockers/LSD units but not that much more. Its even easier with non-c clip axles.
