just got home from work. my caulking and engineering skills have kept most of the rain out of the shop. my steering box being bad plus very high winds equals a dangerous 25 minute ride home. also took a back road that had a foot and a half deep running water in it...i decided to drive through it.

on another note, i went to leave work today and when i did i warmed the jeep up for about 5 minutes which was fine, but driving away led to my GEN light kicking on, a terrible squealing from the front end, and my battery gauge dropping almost into the red. yet it went away after a few seconds. water in my alt? gonna be ok? it would be my 4th alt.

Out and about in Anne Arundel County. Headed to the Honey Bee Diner for dinner. Just passed a group of 12 TJ's that were headed south on RT 2. All with lifts. Wonder where they are headed?

Power flickered and interrupted my killing on Xbox. That was one of the longest outages we've had. About 20-25 seconds.

oh ok. wouldnt my GEN light stay on if my bearing was shot? i think this time ill order a nicer alt and not get another advance one. maybe ill get some metal from work and make a plate to go over it so rain doesnt hit it as much. ill put it at an angle so that water doesnt sit on it either.

The individual ***** in the bearing can evaporate, and cause random seizing.
