It's 0912 hours and already I have put in over 3 hours on the road.
Drove my daughter to White Marsh to catch a bus to DC where she was to transfer to another bus to get to Morgan Town WV.
The bus was to pick her up a 0445 hours and drop her off in DC at 0545 hours where she was to catch the next bus at 0645 hours.
Well there we were sitting at White Marsh at 0430 waiting for the 0445 bus, they it was 0500 waiting for the 0445 bus .... then it was 0515 .... at 0520 I knew the bus was not going to get there in time to make the transfer so it was off to DC for us.
Having no clue where I was going, it was still too dark to see anything so we depended on the GPS which got us close ..... but not right where we had to be.
Couple of illegal U-Turns and we found the place.
I hope the rest of my days goes as good as the earlier part!
On a more positive note the 1998 ZJ I just bought and put on the road passed it's first 100++ mile road test!

Unit had a policy limiting us to " may consume two beers with meal ".
So off to lunch we went, and when we returned it was clear some of us had a bit too much. Disciplinary action was set into action against those of us who were smashed!
Well turns out they could not discipline anyone because nobody consumed more than two beers, however the policy was rewritten to this ....
" may consume two TWELVE OUNCE beers with meal ".
